Could Modi nail the centre?

 Could Modi nail the centre?

Once the capital, if called the most backward state of India, there would be no exaggeration. With the lowest per capita income, Bengal is at the bottom of the human development index in India. Once called the Intellectual Capital of India, how Bengal became a sorry state of affairs is a matter of lengthy assessment. But in short, the professionalization of politicians and the absence of new industries are prominent.

The Communist Government ran Bengal with the non-democratic, political establishment upon the executive, and then the Mamata Government further expanded the occupation of government machinery by a political organization.

Bengal is the only state in India that has professional politicians. Here political parties run like a company, and the workers get perks and living from the party. These professional politicians control the government machinery and run it like the programme of their party. Govt services and development works are decided at party offices rather than Govt offices. This culture was developed by the Communist Party. The anger of the people changed the government but not the system. Mamta Banerjee took the rule by taking advantage of the anger of the people but did not make any change in the system. The face of the government changed, but control of the executive came under the domineering of the newly formed TMC cadres.

The Communist Party used to work on a particular ideology, but Mamata did not have any ideology. Therefore, bullying and grabbing of power became politics.

It is not easy to overcome these political parties who specialize in equations for power in the name of caste and creed. Will Modi be able to distinguish this fort by the charisma of his personality, it will be known only after May 2nd.

If BJP comes to the power, it is necessary to get the assurance that the Govt will not run with such a rule. People really need change.
